LORING WEB PAGES
On October 7th, 2009, John C. Loring passed away. Throughout the months we (his son Michael, daughter Katherine, and loving wife Elizabeth), have enjoyed countless phone calls and emails from fellow collectors and friends expressing their true appreciation for the man my father was. It is of no strange accord that my father's extensive knowledge of Dunhill, Tobacco, Presidential Pens and other Writing Instruments served as a library for the community and collections he enjoyed so much.
For the coming months we will be in the process of gathering information and pictures on the rest of his collection. Our family does not plan on keeping his collections, but will personally keep a few for ourselves. Dad loved to share his knowledge with the rest of the world, and to continue his legacy, his collections belong with the individuals who will appreciate them the most.
If interested in any items currently listed on his web site you are free to continue sending emails and phone calls to the listed contacts.
If you would like to make a donation in his name, please contact Project Puffin, which became of great interest to my father in his final years.
